The two wedding rings together.
These two wedding rings are 18ct yellow gold inlayed with very dark rosewood.

These rings are made in silver and beaten but with a small section left as smooth matt silver. I have also made rings similar to this but with the smooth section as a wavey line.
Two sterling silver wedding rings inlayed with purple heart. The customer wanted the rings to have the beaten effect as well. I hadn't done this before with the wood but I think it creates a good contrast.
Here is a set of platinum wedding rings. Her engagement ring has quite a big stone so we decided to create a kink in the wedding ring so that the ring sat flush with the engagement ring. You can also see that it has a beaten finish.

He wanted a chunky ring with the beaten look. It is platinum and weighed nearly 18 grams.

Two wedding rings in 9ct yellow gold. The dark kingwood works really well against the yellow of the gold

I have done a few crosses inlayed with wood. This is the only picture I have of them. This one is silver inlayed with kingwood
This couple had a serpentine mead which they wanted set for an engagement ring. This is the design we came up with. The stone is tension but still spins like a ball bearring.
Here is another early commission and for some reason I only have a picture of one of the cuffs. It is silver inlayed with rosewood.
Another two 9ct white gold wedding rings inlayed with 9ct yellow.
This was one of my first commissions. It is a silver bracelet inlayed with yew on a leather strap. I made a silver catch at the end which isn't in the picture.
I sometimes make a silver model of a ring for customers before going ahead with the gold version. This is the model for the platinum version. It is slightly wider than R6DL and inlayed with yew.

The brief was for these two wedding rings to look like they had just formed in the earth. I had to think up a new technique to create the distressed effect. The wood inlayed is oak. I think at some point they are going to want small diamonds inlayed in a couple of the cracks.
