This is a beautiful hardwood from the refurbishments of the Phoenix Tall Ship. While we don't know what this wood is, we do know that the ship it comes from was built in 1929 and has graced many films and TV series, including Poldark. This piece is in our collection with thanks to Justin's friend Jobi who worked on the Phoenix in Charlestown.
